MOVES MADE FOR ATATÜRK IN KUŞADASI
The "Atatürk Week Chess Tournament," organized by Kuşadası Municipality in collaboration with Kuşadası Municipal Sports and the Turkish Chess Federation, has concluded. The two-day tournament featured both exciting and fiercely contested matches.
The "Atatürk Week Chess Tournament," held at the Pera Culture, Wedding, and Organization Centre, attracted 120 participants from various districts across Türkiye. The tournament, held in categories for ages 8, 10, 12, 14, and open, saw intense competition. The athletes, vying for a checkmate, experienced thrilling moments. The queens, rooks, bishops, and knights dazzled with their moves as pawns clashed on the board. At the end of the tournament, the winners were presented with their trophies and medals by Kuşadası Municipality Sports Mayor Mehmet Sarıdedeoğlu.
