THE LITTLE STUDENTS ASKED, MAYOR ÖMER GÜNEL ANSWERED SINCERELY

The students of İbrahim Zeki Emgin Primary School worked on the subject of ‘Administrative Units’ in their ‘Life Science’ course together with Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel. Mayor Ömer Günel answered the students’ questions sincerely and said;

 “The desire and energy in the eyes of my little guests to learn gave me great hope for the future.”

 Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel hosted the students of İbrahim Zeki Emgin Primary School 3-E class in his office. The teachers and Deputy Principal Yeliz Denizer also attended the visit. During the visit, which lasted approximately 1 hour, the students asked Mayor Ömer Günel various questions about the Management Units subject of the Life Sciences courses, such as ‘how did you come to this position?’, ‘who helps you in this position?’, ‘what are your duties?’, ‘what kind of activities do you have for children among your duties?’ Mayor Ömer Günel answered the students’ questions one by one and said that he chose to be the mayor to serve the people.

 Stating that they have implemented many projects for school-aged children in Kuşadası, Mayor Ömer Günel said;

“We opened a digital children’s library for our students under the name SEYAKMER. We also have another library in Cafer Kotan Yaşam Park located in İkiçeşmelik District. We have provided our students with free drinking water by placing water fountains in our schools. We continue to provide free milk, lunch boxes and stationery support to children of families in need who go to school. We care about you very much. Because you are the future of our country. It is very important for us that you all receive a good education and become more knowledgeable. You will be sitting in these seats tomorrow. The desire and energy for learning in your eyes gave me great hope today.”
